This Saturday SCV Camp #286, Pvt. Job S. Neill in conjunction with Barrett’s Light Artillery Battery will perform the honors of presenting a new Southern Cross for General McRae. Time will be 2:30 pm and will take place in Oak Grove Cemetery, Searcy Arkansas. Mr. Alan Thompson will be key speaker along with Mr. Mark Christ. SCV ATM Cmdr. Mr. Danny Honnoll will perform the marker presentation. Barrett’s Battery will be on hand with their gun to do a three round volley for the General. Please make plans to Attend if at all possible…rain or shine! Directions are: At Searcy, take Exit 48 which is Race street. On the West side of the four lane at the first stop light, turn to the right onto Popular Street. Go to the four way stop and then turn left onto Moore Street. Follow Moore St. for approx. one mile. Oak Grove Cem. will be on the Right…..
